TESTIMONIALS
Voices from Our Clients

Obtained permanent residency under the federal skilled worker class

I signed up for KIC services while still living in my home country. Misa consistently shared updates whenever there were changes in immigration laws and policies. Even from Japan, I could easily contact her via email or messenger with any questions or concerns. Misa provided clear instructions on which documents to collect, when to collect them, and what information to include. Despite the stressful and lengthy document collection process, her clear guidance allowed me to gather everything without problems. I was anxious about the permanent residency application, especially needing to receive an invitation to apply within one year before my working holiday visa expired. Fortunately, I received the invitation four months into my working holiday and obtained my permanent residency within seven weeks of applying, thanks to the careful document collection and preparation of my application letter. In addition to the PR application, I also received support for my cover letter when looking for a job in Canada and for preparing case studies for interviews, which was really encouraging. I successfully landed my job of first choice.

Aki

Obtained permanent residency via caregiver program after LMIA

I was introduced to KIC by a friend with the hope of obtaining permanent residency. Initially, I signed up for a short-term visa service and am thankful for the career advice I received from Misa. It was very helpful, as navigating the IRCC's website and applying for a visa on my own was challenging. Misa's experience and reassurance were invaluable, especially when I felt uncertain. Her guidance ensured that I submitted an error-free visa application, and I successfully obtained permanent residency under the Home Support Worker Pilot in approximately one year—a process that I had heard typically takes much longer.

Cindy

Obtained LMIA and a work visa after COOP

A friend referred me to KIC, and I sought their advice on permanent residency and applying for a work visa. Misa used my past experiences to suggest the best strategy for obtaining permanent residency. Her kindness and support gave me the confidence to request her assistance with submitting my application on my behalf. The KIC support staff responded quickly, which allowed me to proceed stress-free.

Yutaka

Obtained permanent residency under the family class after studying at a college

I initially entered Canada as a visitor, and when I became concerned about my future career path, I consulted Misa, who had previously assisted me at SFU. I obtained a student visa, married in Canada, and attempted to apply for permanent residency with my spouse on our own. However, our application was returned due to incomplete documents and minor errors. I asked Misa to assist with my student visa and permanent residency applications on short notice. Thanks to her understanding of my situation and her prompt action, I was able to obtain my permanent residency without any issues.

Daisuke

Obtained a common-law open work permit

I didn't know that I could apply for a work visa, so I was grateful to learn about it from Misa. The advice on which documents to submit and the ability to communicate with Misa in case of any problems with the border application was reassuring.

Saeri

Obtained a second working holiday work visa after working holiday

I learned about KIC through a friend. When I met Misa at the permanent residency information session, she was approachable and provided detailed advice. I appreciated that she focused not only on securing my work visa but also on my plans after obtaining it, so I decided to use KIC. Throughout the visa application process, I could consult her in Japanese about any areas I didn't understand. She promptly answered my questions via email, allowing me to proceed confidently.

Haruka

Attended a free permanent residency information session while studying COOP

I had limited knowledge about permanent residency, but the session provided a clear and easy-to-understand overview of the process. Additionally, I was able to check my score and understand how to improve it during the presentation, which will be valuable for my study abroad experience. Thank you very much!
